I think I have a yeast infection... or maybe BV?

I'm a 17 year old girl. I've been having the absolute worst, most unbarable itching down there and I have had some thick, whitish discharge, but also some yellowish discharge. I'm not sure what to do. My mom is away for a few weeks, so I'm just with my dad. I really don't want to tell him, but I have no money to buy monistat or anything. Besides, when I tried using it for a previous yeast infection, it hurt too much to put the capsule in (I'm a virgin). I know I should probably see a doctor, but I really don't want anyone looking down there. Does anyone have any idea of what I should do?
