Is it true that Goebbels was in Hitlers bunker till after Hitler committed suicide?

According to a show on the history channel (I don't remember what show), when hitler killed himself he was actually shorter than what records had shown, it was actually the Russians that covered this information up. The man on the show went to Russia and looked at the skull that the Russians said was hitler's and took samples of it and said that it was actually a female's skull, so somebody was hiding something, either hitler or the Russians. Also, did they cremate him? If they did I guess that probably means what I just wrote was wrong.
