Why are people morally opposed to fur, but not to leather or meat?

as you said it is being resoucful by using the rest of a cow for leather and things because we have already used it for meat. it is more inhumane to take a life for vanity reasons. people think they will look better with fur on so they think that gives them the right to take a life, which ofcourse it doesnt. it is alright though to take a life to survive, to eat because this is the natural order of life. it has been this way since the beginning of time.
